-- Ateneo-OraCare and Adamson University scored wins in the quarterfinal round of Shakey’s V-League Season 6 at The Arena in San Juan City Sunday.
The Lady Eagles outdid the Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tams, 25-16, 26-24, 24-26, 25-14, according to the V-League.ph match results page.
Fille Cainglet led the Lady Eagles with 19 points followed by Angeline Gervacio with 16 points.
FEU’s top scorers, meantime, were Shaira Gonzalez (18 points) and Cherry May Vivas (15 points).
In the following match, the Adamson Lady Falcons creamed the San Sebastian College (SSC) Lady Stags, 25-15, 25-13, 25-12.
Paulina Soriano and Angela Benting bannered Adamson with 15 points each.
The Lady Falcons, Lady Eagles, Lady Stags and Lady Tams will see action again on Tuesday as the featured matches are Adamson vs FEU, Ateneo vs College of St. Benilde, and SSC vs University of Santo Tomas.
