-- Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce has been sidelined with a sprained left foot and is listed as day-to-day.
Pierce was injured during the first quarter of the Celtics' 99-88 victory at Washington on Monday. He scored 12 points in 28 minutes in the first three quarters.
The National Basketball Association all-star forward and MVP of the 2008 NBA finals is the Celtics leading scorer with 18.9 points per game.
