-- The Far Eastern University (FEU) Lady Tams scored their third straight win by beating the San Sebastian Lady Stags in Season 6 of the Shakey’s V-League Sunday.

FEU edged San Sebastian in a 5-set thriller at The Arena in San Juan City, 16-25, 30-28, 17-25, 25-21, 15-10.

“I’m not satisfied with how they played the first three sets. I told them we cannot win on power alone but there must also be coordination,” FEU coach Nes Pamilar told V-League.ph.

The Lady Tams have a 3-1 card while the Lady Stags have 2 wins and 1 loss.

FEU is second in the standings, trailing the undefeated University of Santo Tomas (UST) Tigresses (5-0).

Earlier, the College of St. Benilde (CSB) Lady Blazers breezed through their match against the Lyceum Lady Pirates.

CSB improved their card to 1-2 by winning over Lyceum, 25-19, 25-23, 26-24.

“This is a good win since it kept us in the race for one of the quarterfinals berth,” noted CSB coach Thelma Barina-Rojas.

Lyceum, on the other hand, has a 0-3 card. The Lady Pirates will aim to clinch their first win of the season when they go against Ateneo-OraCare on Tuesday. CSB, meantime, will play against FEU in the earlier match.
