-- The Philippine Patriots scored their second win over Indonesia’s Satria Muda BritAma in the ASEAN Basketball League (ABL).
The Patriots defeated the Indonesian squad, 74-56, at the Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan City Saturday. The RP team beat Satria Muda BritAma, 76-69, last month.
Jerwin Gaco led the Patriots with 13 points while Jason Dixon contributed 12 points, according to the ABL website.
The RP squad has 5 wins and 1 loss, behind the Singapore Slingers who have 5 wins and 2 defeats.
The Slingers suffered their second defeat when they were shocked by Malaysia's KL Dragons (3-4), 74-86, Sunday.
Meanwhile, Satria Muda BritAma’s current record has 3 victories and 4 losses.
The Indonesian team will see action against the Thailand Tigers on Saturday at the BritAma Arena while the Patriots will take on the Tigers on Dec. 1 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The Tigers (2-4) are coming off a 77-66 victory over the Brunei Barracudas (2-5). Their game was held at the Nimibutr National Stadium in Thailand Sunday.
