This is what Jinkee Pacquiao's parents had to say of their son-in-law Manny Pacquiao after seeing footage of Jinkee crying at a thanksgiving mass held in honor of Manny's victory over Puerto Rican boxer Miguel Cotto in Las Vegas.

Jinkee Pacquiao was seen bawling and crying at the mass in Las Vegas. She also refused gestures by her husband Manny to comfort her.

Jinkee also skipped out on her husband's post-fight party in Las Vegas, and took separate return flights home to the Philippines. The boxer is set to arrive in Manila Friday morning.

The Pacquiao couple are reportedly fighting over the boxer's alleged affair with sexy starlet Krista Ranillo, who happens to be his co-star in the film "Whapakman."

Though Jinkee has yet to speak with her family about her apparent marital problems, her mother Rosalina Jamora said she felt pained at seeing one of her daughters heartbroken. Jinkee has a twin sister named Janet.

"Bilang ina, siyempre nasaktan ako. Kung ano ang mga intriga ng mga tao, sila na siguro ang magdedesisyon niyan. (As a mother, of course I was hurt. Whatever the intrigues are, they will have to decide on that)," Mrs. Jamora said in an interview in Saranggani province in Mindanao.

'It will damage Manny's campaign'

Jinkee's father, Nestor Jamora, was visibly more angry, saying that the entire Jamora clan was angry at Manny for putting undue strain on his relationship with Jinkee.

"Ang daming galit sa kanya. Tapos 'yang issue kay Jinkee. Lahat dito, puro pamilya ang nandito [ay galit sa kanya]. (So many people are mad at [Manny]. And here comes that issue with Jinkee. Everyone here, her family, is mad at him)," Mr. Jamora said.

The Jamoras are currently commemorating the anniversary of the death of Jinkee's grandfather in Saranggani.

Mr. Jamora added that he will boycott the film "Whapakman" even if he gets free seats as Manny's father-in-law.

He believes the swirling rumors of Manny's affair with an actress around 6 years his junior will ruin his electoral campaign as Congressman of the lone district of Saranggani, which is Jinkee's hometown.

The boxer will be up against businessman Roy Chongbian, brother of third-termer and outgoing Saranggani Rep. Erwin Chongbian.

Pacquiao ran as the congressional representative of General Santos City in the 2007 elections, but lost to Rep. Darlene Custodio.

'Face the rumors'

Some constituents in General Santos City (Manny's hometown), meanwhile, said the boxer should answer rumors on his alleged affair with Ranillo - especially as his private dealings will come into scrutiny when he runs in the 2010 elections.

While some GenSan residents think the rumors are baseless, others believe the rumored affair is the cause of the rift between Manny and Jinkee.

"May karapatan din si Jinkee na magselos kasi parang sweet din sila ng girl (Manny with Krista). [I think Jinkee has cause to be jealous because it's like Manny is sweet with Krista]," said Ruffa Canacan, a Muslim girl.

Leonilo Jamor Jr., Jinkee's uncle, said Manny should have stayed away from controversy if he wants to run a smooth campaign next year.

"'Yong mga tukso sa buhay eh alam mo naman, pag sikat tayo, maraming lumalapit sa atin. Dapat iwas-iwasan natin 'yon. [You know temptations in life are there. When you're famous, many people will come to us. We should resist [temptation])," he said.

Jinkee's mother Rosalina, meanwhile, advised Ranillo to leave married men alone. "Sana naman, alam nila na may asawa 'yong tao, may pamilya. Sana sila na ang mag-iwas (sic)," she said.

The Jamoras are reportedly ready to help Jinkee and Manny work out their problems.

The Pacquiao couple met while Jinkee was working as a Pond's consultant at a mall in Saranggani, and Manny was training under Jinkee's uncle, who was a boxing trainer.

After 3 months of courtship, the pair decided to get married. They have 4 children together: Jemuel, Michael, Mary Divine Grace, and Queen Elizabeth.
